The Challenge

  1. Download the image using the button below.
  2. Extract the EXIF metadata to identify the 35mm equivalent focal length and the sensor dimensions.
  3. Calculate the Field of View (FOV) for this specific image.
  4. Measure the moon's diameter in pixels and calculate the Degrees per Pixel.
  5. Use your results to determine the Angular Size of the Moon in degrees.
