How to Use This Tool
This tool calculates the great-circle distance and the initial compass bearing (heading) between two
global locations.
Step 1: Enter your first set of GPS coordinates in decimal degree format, separated by a
comma (e.g., 39.521, -104.760). Use the "Open Maps" link if you need to find coordinates on
Google Maps.
Step 2: Enter the second set of coordinates in the same format.
Step 3: Press Calculate. The tool will automatically output the distance in
Miles/Kilometers for long distances, or Feet/Meters if the points are close together.
